Each student is assigned a topic of relevance to consultancy to reflect on for his or her own practice. Collectively, the class generates a knowledge resource base on a wide range of relevant management disciplines, which impact upon how consultancy practice is effectively delivered to create value for client organisations.
Write a report of 1500 words (+/- 10%) on your nominated individual research topic in the course Google Site (access via the link sent to your email). Your task is to define the topic and explain its relevance to the discipline of consultancy, reflect on its relevance your own practices and highlight its relationship to other relevant topics in the class resource base (through hyperlinks). You do NOT need to define other topics, just refer to them within the context and relevant flow of your own topic article, by linking to them.
Your research should draw on AT LEAST 5 articles from peer-reviewed academic journals (to pass) and 5 articles from other sources (internet postings, newspaper articles, magazine articles, professional development videos, personal correspondence, corporate documents etc). All source materials must be fully and consistently referenced using Harvard format.
The purpose of constructing this assessment in a collaborative Google site is to share your learning with other members of the class. Each student will link to other topics relevant their own within the context of their report. This collaborative approach enhances each others quality of work overall and highlights the interdependencies each topic has with the others. Do not define other topics within your report, leverage what your fellow learners have written, so that your own research and reflections are focused rather than repetitive.
